Rod’s Farewell

Illinois Governor, Rod Blagojevich was ousted by an overwhelming majority in the Illinois State Senate on January 29. The whole trial became a national joke as he paraded around the country proclaiming his innocence. Most people would’ve found it easier to believe Blagojevich if he had not “boycotted” his own impeachment trial. Not only did he boycott the trial, but he finally showed up to make closing arguments, where he presented no evidence in his defense. So I hope with his impeachment he will kindly remove himself from the national scene and give up his “I’m the victim tour“.
